Below you will find the main stages of my academic and professional career.

Education/Studies

1975 – 1984 Grammar school with general qualification for university entrance
1984 – 1985 Military service
1986 Internship with a bank
1987 – 1990 Business management studies at an university of applies sciences, study course international management, with a degree in business administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH)). Diploma thesis covering the contribution of cost accounting to early detection of corporate crises (published in “Jahrbuch für Fach- und Führungskräfte des Rechnungswesens 1992″ as a shortened version – unfortunately only available in German)

Vocational stages

1990 – 1994 Robert Bosch GmbH

Plant controlling with an automotive supplier: controlling of overhead costs, target costing, manpower requirements calculations

1994 -1995 Horten AG

Logistics controlling with a trading concern: stock and costs analysis

1995 – 1997 Mannesmann Sachs AG

Internal accounting with an automotive supplier: month-end closing procedures, sales volume, profit margin and operating profit analysis, project work dealing with the unification of a business area´s systems and processes

since 1998 Professional activity as an external consultant and an internal application administrator in the area of SAP Finance and Controlling (for details please refer to SAP projects and functions)
